Perhaps almost as much as they're recognized for engineering dynamic models, the Chrysler Group LLC is well-known on account of their charitable efforts. Though there are many examples, the most recent is their donation to an ongoing education effort in the Motor City, only miles from the birthplace of our choice American automaker.
To be specific, The Chrysler Foundation has contributed a generous $65,000 grant to the Winning Futures foundation. A non-profit organization dedicated to helping the young folks of Detroit build successful lives, the group works with the city's metro area high schools to mentor students.
As you'd hope, the results of the Winning Futures group have been impressive. In fact, an estimated 30,000 students thus far have been positively impacted by the non-profit organization. That's a continued outcome that Chrysler has helped contribute to since the automaker's involvement three years ago.
Speaking to their delightfully obvious reasons for participating with the aforementioned non-profit, the senior vice president of engineering at the Chrysler Group LLC, Mark Chernoby, explains that, "Helping students develop the skills and self-confidence that they need to succeed is an investment that will pay dividends for a lifetime".1
Naturally, we at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Tucson wholeheartedly agree, and we're optimistic that you do as well. If you'd like to learn more about the automaker's many charitable contributions, then we kindly urge you to follow our dealership blog.
