2014 Jeep Cherokee Production Delayed One Month

Tucson Jeep lovers are going to have to wait one more month for the  upcoming 2014 Jeep Cherokee to be released. Production of the SUV has been pushed back due to strict quality guidelines.

Left Lane News reports, "Each of the Detroit Three have been placing an increased emphasis on quality control measures late in the development process in order to ensure smooth new product launches."1

Chrysler in general is enforcing stricter quality control policies, due to the increase of recalls recently. The good news, however, is that eager consumers can still expect to see the stylish new Jeep model hit dealerships this fall.

The new Jeep Cherokee is designed on an underbody adapted from Fiat, which is the majority owner of Chrysler, making it a bit more complex than many other new models. It's also the first Chrysler model to feature a 9-speed transmission, which was developed in tandem with German supplier ZF Group.

As soon as the vehicle arrives at our Tucson dealership, we will be sure to let you know on our blog. In the meantime, stop by 7800 E. 22nd Street and check out our stellar selection of new Jeep models currently for sale.
