"With our new Trailhawk and Summit models, Jeep Grand Cherokee becomes even more capable and more luxurious," said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA Global. "Our Cherokee and Renegade Trailhawk models are among our fastest selling and most sought-after models, and we are following that successful formula to provide consumers even more legendary Jeep 4x4 capability for Grand Cherokee – the most awarded SUV ever."

For those interested in the new models, you will have to wait until the fall to make your purchase. In the meantime we have a few highlights we can share with you regarding both Grand Cherokee models. The 2017 Trailhawk equips the Quadra-Drive II four-wheel-drive system, a black hood decal, revised air suspension, skid plates and the choice of either 18- or 20-inch wheels. As for the Summit, it's the most luxurious vehicle in the full-size SUV segment. It features a full-wrap Laguna leather interior, an array of technology features, 20-inch aluminum wheels, LED fog-lamps and the Quadra-Drive II four-wheel-drive system.
