Driving directions

  • Get on I-19 N
  • Continue on I-19 N to Tucson
  • Take exit 102 for 29th St toward Silverlake Rd / Starr Pass Blvd/22nd St
  • Continue onnnto S Freeway (signs for I-10 E/Starr Pass Blvd 22nd st/I-10 S)
  • Turn right onto W 22nd St
  • Your destination will be on the right just before the Pantano Wash
Off Road Jeep Drive through Gunsight Pass near Tucson, AZGunsight Pass
This trail follows sandy wash bottoms, then climbs over scenic 5,650-foot Gunsight Pass across from the Santa Rita Mountains. A fun network of OHV trails for licensed and unlicensed vehicles. Call (520) 281-2296 for current conditions.

Rating: Moderate Trail is narrow, steep and rocky at higher elevations. One bad washout on the west side of the pass is near collapse, which could make the trail impassable is repairs are not made.

Getting There: Take I-10 east from Tucson to exit 281. Follow Highway 83 south 12 miles. At 0.1 miles after a small picnic area, turn right on F. Road 231.
