Sharing the same body design, the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are both full-size, three-row SUVs. The Grand Wagoneer seats seven with second-row captain’s chairs, while the Wagoneer bench increases seating to eight.
The Grand Wagoneer is the more luxurious of the two and has extra chrome, premium leather and wood trim, and LED ambient lighting. The exterior has a black roof, a different hood, and powered, retracting running boards.
Performance
Regardless of the model, you’ll get a powerful V8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Individually, there’s a 5.7-liter engine in the Wagoneer that has cylinder deactivation and a 48-volt eTorque hybrid assist, rear-wheel-drive that produces 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque for a 10,000-pound towing capacity, when properly equipped.
You’ll get a 6.4-liter engine with cylinder deactivation and four-wheel drive in the Grand Wagoneer to get 471 horsepower, torque of 455 pound-feet, and 9,860 pounds of towing.
